What this is
This scheme is being executed for the family members who are unable to make their livelihood after the death of the primary breadwinner of the family.
In detail
Under the National Social Assistance Program (NFBS) by the Government of India, Ministry of Rural Development, Department of Rural Development, such members of the families living below the poverty line whose natural/unnatural death, for the purpose of providing social security to the victim's family Financial aid is provided.
Who qualifies
- The scheme is applicable in case of the death of the primary earning head of the family (male or female).
- The deceased earning member should be above 18 years and below 60 years of age at the time of death.
- The annual family income should not exceed ₹46,080 in rural areas.
- The annual family income should not exceed ₹56,460 in urban areas.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.

- Eligible applicants are entitled to a lump sum grant of ₹ 30,000/
