What this is

The scheme promotes fitness among rural youth by providing financial assistance to the mangal dals for setting up open gyms in each Gram Panchayat. The scheme "Rural Sports and Health Promotion Scheme" was launched by the Department of Youth Welfare and prantiy rakshak dal (PRD), Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to promote physical fitness and well-being among rural youth by establishing open gyms in village communities.
