- The applicant should belong to the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC).
- The applicant should be pursuing M.Phil or Ph.D at a recognized institution.
- The applicant’s annual family income should not exceed ₹6,00,000/-.

Scholarship Assistance:
- ₹25,000/- for students pursuing M.Phil.
- ₹1,00,000/- for students preparing Ph.D thesis.
