In detail
The scheme “Saral Bijli Bill Scheme” launched by the Energy Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, aims to ensure electricity accessibility to registered labourers and construction workers by providing free domestic connections and a fixed electricity bill of ₹200/- per month.
Who qualifies
- The applicant should be a registered labourer under the Mukhyamantri Mazdoor Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana–2018.
- The applicant should be a registered construction worker.
- The applicant should have a domestic electricity connection or intend to obtain one under this scheme.

- Free Electricity Connection: Eligible registered labourers and construction workers receive free domestic electricity connections without any connection charge. - Fixed Monthly Electricity Bill: The beneficiary is required to pay only ₹200 per month for electricity consumption.
Who is excluded
- The applicant should not have a connected load exceeding 1000 watts.
- The applicant should not have an air conditioner or heater connected to the domestic connection.
