In detail

The scheme "Subsidy for Developing Business Premises for Persons with Disabilities" is implemented by the Haryana Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections Kalyan Nigam, Government of Haryana. Under this scheme, loans up to ₹3 lakh are provided to persons with disabilities to develop business premises on their own land and start self-employment activities. Permanent residents of Haryana, aged 18 or older, with a disability of 40% or more, is eligible to avail the benefits under this scheme.

Who qualifies

  • The applicant should be a permanent resident of Haryana.
  • The applicant should have a disability of at least 40%.
  • The applicant should be over 18 years old. For persons with mental retardation, the age requirement is relaxed to 14 years instead of the usual 18 years.
  • The land on which commercial/business complexes are proposed to be constructed should be the applicant's own or it should be on long term lease for more than 20 years from a government agency. The lease period should be 20 years on the date of application to N.H.F.D.C.
