Who qualifies

  • The beneficiary must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
  • The beneficiary must belong to one of the following categories:
  • A woman
  • A person with a disability
  • A serving or retired state military officer/personnel
  • An individual taking a loan for the purpose of agricultural activities

What you get

Under this scheme, stamp duty exemptions are provided at the time of property registration to:

  • Include deprived sections of society in the mainstream of development.
  • Promote economic upliftment.
  • Support improved performance in agriculture-related activities.
  • Recognize and give importance to the state’s military personnel.
  • A 25% rebate in stamp duty is allowed on the transfer of immovable property up to the value of ₹25 lakh in favor of a woman buyer, a maximum of two times in her lifetime.
  • A 25% rebate in stamp duty is allowed on the transfer of immovable property up to the value of ₹25 lakh in favor of a disabled person, a maximum of two times in his lifetime.
  • An exemption of up to 25% in stamp duty is allowed on the transfer of immovable property up to the value of ₹25 lakh for serving or retired military officers/personnel of the State.
  • Exemption from stamp duty is provided on mortgage deeds executed for loans taken for agricultural activities.
