Under rule 282 (Other Welfare Measures) of the Tripura State Building and Other Construction Workers (RE & CS) Rules 2001, the scheme for funeral Assistance in case of the death of registered construction workers is made.

Who qualifies

  • The applicant should be a nominee, spouse, or dependent of the deceased registered worker.
  • The registered construction workers should not have any dues payable to the Board.

What you get

  • A one-time grant of ₹10,000/- is provided for the expenses of the funeral ceremony.

NOTE: The amount of benefit payable by the BOARD shall be paid through DBT mode.
