Who qualifies

  • The applicant should be a Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) approved maritime training institute.
  • The applicant should have participated in the Comprehensive Inspection Programme (CIP).
  • The applicant should have demonstrated consistent and high performance in training quality and outcomes.
  • The applicant should fall under one of the following categories:
  • Pre-sea training institutes for Officer Cadets (Nautical & Engineering);
  • Pre-sea training institutes for Rating Trainees;
  • Post-sea training institutes conducting Competency Courses.
