The scholarship scheme is implemented by the Uttarakhand Agricultural Production & Marketing Board under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Uttarakhand. It aims to provide financial assistance to the sons and daughters of small and marginal farmers, agricultural laborers, and market workers of Uttarakhand to pursue higher education in Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Horticulture & other related fields.
Who qualifies
- The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
- The applicant must be a student.
- The applicant must be the son or daughter of a small or marginal farmer, agricultural laborer, or mandi worker, or their dependent.
- The applicant’s total annual family income must not exceed ₹3,00,000/-.

Students pursuing courses in Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Horticulture and other related fields at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar; R.M.P. (P.G.) College, Gurukul Narsan, Haridwar; V.C.S.G. Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Bharsar, Pauri Garhwal; and the College of Horticulture, V.C.S.G. Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Ranichauri, are eligible for scholarships, which are awarded to the sons and daughters of small and marginal farmers, agricultural laborers, market laborers, and their dependents to support their higher education in these fields.
