The scheme "Swami Vivekananda Exam Oriented Residential Training" was launched by the Directorate of Employment and Training, Department of Labour and Employment, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to provide comprehensive residential training to aspiring candidates for recruitment in Army, Air Force, Navy, Paramilitary Forces and Police Forces, addressing the need for specialized coaching and preparation to enhance success rates in defence and police recruitment examinations. The scheme provides exam-oriented residential training programs and coaching facilities specifically designed for defence services examinations and conducts comprehensive preparation sessions covering written examinations, physical fitness training, personality development, and interview preparation. The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat state and must be aspiring for recruitment in Army, Air Force, Navy, Paramilitary Forces or Police Forces with appropriate age and educational qualifications as per the respective service requirements. The scheme is implemented by the Directorate of Employment and Training under the Labour and Employment Department, Government of Gujarat and applications for this scheme are accepted through designated employment exchanges and training centers across the state.

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
• The applicant must be aspiring for recruitment in Army, Air Force, Navy, Paramilitary Forces or Police Forces.
• The applicant must meet the age criteria as prescribed for respective defence and police services.
• The applicant must possess minimum educational qualifications as required for the specific service examination they are preparing for.
• The applicant must have completed relevant educational requirements as per Central Government norms for defence services.
• The applicant must meet basic physical fitness standards for defence and police services.
• The applicant must be medically fit as per general health requirements.
• The applicant must be willing to undergo rigorous physical training programs.
• The applicant must belong to economically weaker sections or demonstrate financial need for training assistance.
• The applicant must not be receiving similar training assistance from other government schemes simultaneously.
