The “West Bengal Transport Workers’ Social Security Scheme: Pension” by the Labour Department, is designed to support unorganized transport workers upon retirement. - The applicant’s vehicle must be used for commercial purposes and not solely for personal or family use.
- The applicant must have been continuously enrolled in the scheme for at least 5 years to qualify for pension benefits.
